What we collect, what we don't, and how to ask us anything about it.

The plain English version

This site does not require you to log in, register, give an email, or share any personal information. We do not sell data. We do not run third-party advertising. We do not place identification cookies. We collect anonymous, aggregate visit statistics (which pages are visited, from which country, on what device class) so that we can improve the site. That's it.

If you email us, we obviously keep the email so we can reply. We do not add it to any list and we do not share it.

1. Who we are

This site is operated as the public surface of Mostly Rollie's, a concept-stage product. Mostly Rollie's is a Cheekyleaf concept. The data controller for this site is the operator of cheekyleaf.co.za. Contact: hello@mostlyrollies.com.

2. What we collect

• Visit analytics — pages viewed, referring source, country, device class. Collected via privacy-respecting analytics, no third-party tracking cookies.
• Server logs — IP address, user agent, request path. Retained for 30 days for security and operational diagnostics, then deleted.
• Email correspondence — if you write to us, we keep the email and our reply. We do not subscribe you to anything.

3. What we do not collect

• We do not collect names, addresses, phone numbers, or identifiers unless you give them to us in an email.
• We do not collect health information.
• We do not collect prescription information. Prescription records are held by your dispensing pharmacy under SAHPRA controlled-substance regulations, not by us.
• We do not run third-party ad networks, social-network pixels, or behavioural-profile cookies.

4. How we use what we collect

Aggregate analytics are used to understand which pages are useful and which need work. Server logs are used to keep the site running and to detect abuse. Email correspondence is used to reply to you. Nothing collected is sold, traded, or shared with third parties for marketing purposes.

5. Cookies

This site sets no third-party cookies. If we use a privacy-respecting analytics tool that sets a first-party cookie, it is used only to distinguish unique visitors in aggregate counts and contains no personal identifier.

6. Your rights under POPIA (and equivalents)

Under the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA, South Africa) and equivalent data-protection laws in other jurisdictions, you have the right to:

• Ask what personal information about you we hold.
• Ask us to correct it.
• Ask us to delete it.
• Object to its processing.
• Lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator of South Africa (or your equivalent).

7. International transfers

The site is hosted on Netlify infrastructure, which may store data in jurisdictions outside South Africa. By using the site you consent to such transfers, subject to equivalent data-protection safeguards.

8. Changes to this notice

Material changes to this privacy notice are announced on this page with an updated effective date. The current version is dated above.
